Menyintai, Pencinta, Dicintai

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim…

Saya cuba mengungkap sedikit kata-kata Ustaz Muhaimin malam tadi; “hakikinya insan yang bercinta, akan mengutamakan cintanya lebih dari segalanya, dan berusaha melakukan apa yang disukai cintanya”; begitulah jika digambarkan cinta insan dgn Penciptanya.

Kata-kata di atas sangat berkesan. Memang benar sifat cinta yang tulus itu, jitu, ikhlas, tiada siapa terpaksa dan dipaksa dengannya, segalanya indah. Saya pernah rasa cinta itu, saya faham cinta itu, dan saya juga, setelah mendengar ungkapan Ustaz Muhaimin semalam, amat menyetujuinya. Cubalah kita bayangkan, jika Allah menjadi cinta kita, kita sentiasa ikat percintaan dengan Yang Maha Segala, pastikan kita akan berpaut denganNya, terus mengutamakanNya. Bukanlah mudah kan, saya juga. Ustaz Muhaimin kata, nak tagih cinta Tuhan ini, harus sabar, terutamanya sabar yang dalam waktu kita punya pilihan. Contohnya, kisah Nabi Yusuf, ketik digoda Zulaikha, cukup hebat, dia remaja, tiada siapa melihat, jauh dari kampung halaman, dia cuba lari tapi Zulaikha sangat sungguh-sungguh sehingga terkoyak bajunya direntap Zulaikha, oh sungguh sabar dia melarikan diri dari maksiat, demi cintanya kepada Kekasihnya Yang Maha Agung.

Terima kasih ustaz, saya suka cinta. Walaupun saya sudah banyak kali gagal memupuk kesabaran dan kecintaan itu, semoga saya akan berupaya merubah. Bantulah daku, Tuhanku.

PrePress:IT Dept? what the ...

OK, why is it that whenever someone in our company can't receive email they automatically come running into Prepress? How did prepress inherit the management of all things "internet" related, and how can prepress unload this responsibility onto somebody else? Why do sales people ask prepress to help them fix their computers at home? Don't they know we hate them? Just because I drive a car doesn't mean I want to change everybody's oil! Yet, whenever a dirty email gets blocked by spam filters, or a salesman can't surf porn on the internet because a pop-up window won't go away, prepress is interrupted and expected to save the day.

Obviously, we know the sales department won't be able to handle IT problems, since they can't manage to set an alarm clock that would get them to show up for work on time, but I'm still not convinced it should fall onto the laps of prepress.

Does anybody have an actual IT department, or do you simply abuse the poor geek in prepress who stupidly admits to having a PC at home and enjoys watching Star Trek reruns? (There's one in every shop.)

Ready or not?

15 August2008. appointment with my supervisor Prof Aris.. need to complete my new proposal. in fact, i need to understand him first. his a very smooth old man with character, by the way, Mahatzir advice me to go slow with him, listen to what he got to say. I ready for a battle, argue with the My supervisor of course!.iskh. Key point here...after i explain whatever i had in mind the right words is : "what do you think Prof?...." in stead of im doing a case study which in fact will reflect my bias toward PDF, better for me to measure the perception of designers...in regards of the standartdize final files...PDF is not the best solution..u know,...erkhh..im stuggling!!..

14 august 2008.. i ve been requested to attend to the hearing of case. Pembahagian harta..call my mom this morning. tell her that i could not make it to the hearing. I got class!...well

last nite, im soooo damn tired!..after a toughest exercise that evening....go bed early..leave my YM online..but i cant recall weather im put it on invisible mode...by the way.this message what i got fro ieja..at 12 am..my question: is this the sign that she still remember me?..for me she is very ego.. cant admit that she wants me..well basically she playing hard to get..

3. Problem Statement

Reliability of native application files format have long become argument among designers and printers. As far as the designers concern, reliability to be successfully output the files greatly dependent by its environment: the software and the hardware. Obviously designer cannot control the prepress infrastructure unless it intended to be locally printed. Designer do, however, have some hand in the ability to predict finished printed sheets by proofing to the in house printer.

Even though proofing served as initial guide, error in the content always to be blamed as prepress operator struggle to maintain graphical feature as intended which prohibited it to be converted to a compatible input file. To address this issue, it is important to verify the errors and plan a critical approach to prepress requirement.

A room for failure

now it is very obvious that kids are creative and you know why? because they have room for failure. they grow. they get pretty much supported with what they do from thier parents. if you lose that support and get punished for risk taken that is when you become conservative. that is when you become conservative. that is when you dont take any risk. this is when you lose creativity. the problem now is that if we only focus on the business aspects which is really focus on just revenues and make sure the numbers are met...we (will) lose that creativity.
